Jesús A. Albarran Hernández

Jesus Albarran concentrates his practice in international business and financial transactions. He has actively participated in the representation of financial institutions in respect to international credit facilities and restructurings.

Mr. Albarran received his BA in 2004 from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, and his J.D. in 2008 from Universidad Iberoamericana. Mr. Albarran took courses on International Commercial Law in 2007 at L’Université Panteón-Assas Paris II. He holds an LL.M. 2013 from New York University School of Law.

Mr. Albarran participated in the team advising HSBC Overseas Holdings (UK) Limited in connection with a divestment of 18.68% of the capital stock of Financiera Independencia, a Mexican multiple purpose financial corporation listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange; International Finance Corporation in connection with a divestment of approximately 7% of the capital stock of Industrias Innopack, a leading Mexican producer of plastic bottles and caps with operations in various Latin-American countries.

Mr. Albarran also has experience in regulatory matters, including advice to domestic and foreign corporations in connection with the authorization, incorporation, organization and operations of financial institutions in Mexico.

Mr. Albarran is a member of Barra Mexicana de Abogados.
